2026 RKAP AGM Sets New Direction for PLN Energi Gas to Strengthen National Gas Infrastructure

Jakarta, 30 January 2026 — Strengthening the company’s strategy to meet the energy sector’s needs throughout 2026 is one of PLN Energi Gas’s priorities at the start of the year. Through the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on the Company’s Work Plan and Budget (RKAP), held on January 30, 2026, the company established a strategic direction that will serve as a guideline for conducting business operations over the next year.

The AGM was attended by shareholders, including the Board of Directors and management of PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) as well as YPK PLN. Members of the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and employees of PLN Energi Gas were also present at the meeting.

During the GMS, the 2026 PLN Energi Gas RKAP and the 2026 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were approved. This approval serves as the foundation for the company to implement its work programs and measure performance achievements throughout the year.

PLN Energi Gas’s operational direction for 2026 is centered on the theme “Operational Excellence and Market Expansion to Ensure Reliable Gas Infrastructure Facilities.” This theme positions operational strengthening as part of the company’s efforts to ensure the reliability of gas infrastructure. At the same time, market expansion is a key focus to broaden PLN Energi Gas’s role in the national energy ecosystem.

In line with this direction, PLN Energi Gas CEO Edwin Bangun emphasized that the 2026 Annual Business Plan (RKAP) serves as the company’s foundation for aligning operational strengthening with business development.

“The 2026 Annual Business Plan (RKAP) serves as a foundation for PLN Energi Gas to strengthen operational reliability while opening up opportunities for business development. Both must go hand in hand so that the managed gas infrastructure can support energy needs while expanding the company’s contribution to the national gas ecosystem,” said Edwin Bangun.

The implementation of this strategy is focused on developing gas infrastructure capable of sustainably supporting energy needs. Facility reliability is a key priority, as gas infrastructure plays a role in ensuring a smooth energy supply for various needs.

The 2026 RKAP General Meeting also serves as an opportunity to align the company’s targets with on-the-ground operations. With the established RKAP and KPIs in place, each work unit has a framework for implementing programs and evaluating their achievements.

Through the adoption of the 2026 Annual Work Plan, PLN Energi Gas continues its efforts to strengthen the company as part of the national gas ecosystem. The approved work plan serves as a foundation for delivering gas infrastructure capable of supporting Indonesia’s energy needs while also benefiting the community.
