Holding of the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the Annual Financial Report (AGM-AFR) of PT PLN Gas & Geothermal

Jakarta, 26 June 2023 – On Monday, June 26, 2023, PT PLN Gas & Geothermal held its 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the Annual Financial Report (AGM-AFR). The 2022 AGM on the Annual Financial Report was held at the headquarters of PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) and was attended by the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors of PT PLN Gas & Geothermal (PLNGG), the Board of Directors of PLN EPI, and the PT PLN (Persero) Education and Welfare Foundation (YPK) as a shareholder of PLNGG.

During the meeting, PLNGG’s President Director, Moh Riza Affiandi, highlighted several of PLNGG’s achievements in 2022. First, the Company’s revenue increased by 36% from 2021, reaching Rp574.17 billion. Second, the Company remains committed to maintaining and improving the operational reliability of the Tanjung Batu Gas Pipeline, with the EAF rate increasing from 98.88% in 2021 to 99.78% in 2022, with a total gas distribution of 4,085,417 MMBTU. Third, the Company was able to improve the risk maturity level of its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) from 2.07 in 2021 to 2.79 in 2022. And fourth, the Company successfully improved its Good Corporate Governance (GCG) score from 62.47 in 2021 to 75.79 in 2022, based on the results of the BPKP assessment.

“We hope that following the 2022 LPT AGM, PT PLN Gas & Geothermal will achieve even more significant milestones in 2023,” explained Riza.

The 2022 LPT AGM proceeded smoothly and without any obstacles. Both the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors of PLNGG delivered their reports exceptionally well.
