PLN Energi Gas Holds 2026 National Awakening Day Ceremony, Reinforcing the Spirit of Unity and National Revival
Jakarta, 20 May 2026 – To commemorate the 118th National Awakening Day, PLN Energi Gas held a commemorative ceremony attended by management and all company employees. The event took place in a solemn atmosphere as a moment to strengthen the spirit of nationalism, unity, and commitment to supporting reliable and sustainable national energy development.
Under the national theme “Nurture the Nation’s Youth for National Sovereignty,” this year’s National Awakening Day commemoration serves as an important reflection that the nation’s rebirth must continue to be upheld through collaboration, innovation, and tangible contributions from all segments of society
During the ceremony, the CEO of PLN Energi Gas, Mr. Edwin Bangun, served as the ceremony’s presiding officer and read the remarks from the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. In those remarks, it was stated that National Awakening Day is a moment to uphold the nation’s spirit of struggle in facing the challenges of the times, including digital transformation and the strengthening of national sovereignty.
Furthermore, it was noted that the theme “Nurturing the Nation’s Youth for National Sovereignty” reflects the importance of nurturing the younger generation as the foundation of the nation’s future, while simultaneously strengthening the spirit of national self-reliance across various sectors of life.
In his address, all PLN Energi Gas employees were also encouraged to continue fostering a spirit of collaboration, enhancing integrity, and making their best contributions to the nation through professional service and performance.
