Jakarta, 17 June 2026 – PT PLN Energi Gas (PLN EG) held the “Culture Empowerment & Leader’s Insight” event at the Museum of Electricity and New Energy in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, on Wednesday (June 17). The event was attended by PLN Energi Gas management members designated as “Rangers” and “Champions” of the corporate culture, as part of efforts to strengthen the implementation of a corporate culture aligned with the company’s strategic business direction and the increasingly dynamic challenges of the energy industry.
This event serves as a follow-up to the establishment of PLN Energi Gas’s Corporate Culture, which needs to be translated into relevant, actionable programs that deliver tangible impacts on improving the company’s performance. “Corporate culture must not remain merely as values written on paper. Culture must be alive in everyday behavior, serve as the foundation for decision-making, and be able to drive the organization to move faster, be more innovative, and be more responsive to customer needs and business changes,” he said.
Throughout the event, participants gained various strategic insights regarding developments in the energy industry, business dynamics in the gas sector, challenges and opportunities for company growth, and shareholder expectations in supporting national energy security. Additionally, participants gained an understanding of the importance of building an organization that is adaptive, innovative, customer-oriented, upholds workplace safety, and is capable of consistently implementing the principles of operational excellence.
This interactive event also featured a corporate culture workshop involving all Rangers and Champions in formulating various strategic initiatives for implementing the culture within PLN Energi Gas. Through a collaborative workshop approach, participants developed priority programs covering aspects such as Leadership Behavior, Organizational Systems, Symbols & Rituals, and Quick Wins that can be immediately implemented to strengthen the internalization of the corporate culture.
During the presentation and review session, each group presented the results of their discussions and received direct feedback from the Board of Directors to ensure that every cultural program is closely aligned with the organization’s needs and the company’s business goals.
