Tarakan, 18 September 2024 <\/b>\u2013 PT PLN Energi Gas (PLN EG) and the North Kalimantan Regional State Intelligence Agency (BINDA) today officially signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) to ensure the security of PT PLN Energi Gas\u2019s project implementation and strategic objectives within BINDA North Kalimantan\u2019s operational area. The event took place at the BINDA North Kalimantan Office in Tarakan, in an atmosphere marked by a strong commitment to strengthening synergy between the two institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

This cooperation aims to create a safe and conducive environment to support the implementation of PT PLN Energi Gas\u2019s strategic projects in North Kalimantan. With BINDA\u2019s support and strategic role, it is hoped that the natural gas projects managed by PLN EG will run smoothly, thereby having a positive impact on regional economic development and improving community welfare.<\/p>\n\n

In his remarks, PT PLN Energi Gas CEO Moh. Riza Affiandi stated that this collaboration is a crucial step toward ensuring the operational smoothness and security of PLN EG\u2019s strategic projects. \u201cWe deeply appreciate the role of BINDA North Kalimantan in supporting the implementation of our strategic projects. This synergy is tangible proof of our shared commitment to promoting sustainable development and national energy security,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n

The Head of BINDA North Kalimantan, Andri Murhadi, added that this agreement is part of BINDA\u2019s efforts to ensure stability and security in the North Kalimantan region. \u201cWe are committed to providing full support to PT PLN Energi Gas in ensuring the smooth implementation of strategic projects that not only contribute to energy needs but also to the development of strategic border regions,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

This agreement covers various aspects, including security risk monitoring and mitigation, the provision of relevant intelligence information, and cross-sector coordination in addressing potential threats to the implementation of PLN EG projects in the region. This collaboration also serves as a tangible manifestation of support for national priority programs, particularly in the development of the energy sector, which is the backbone of the nation\u2019s development.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
