PLN Energi Gas Executive Board Observes Firsthand Local Economic Development Through Saji Farm and Bugar Rama
Balai Pungut, 23 January 2026 – The Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program is one of the company’s efforts to build relationships with communities in the areas surrounding its operations. PLN Energi Gas has adopted this approach through the Saji Farm and Bugar Rama programs, which are being implemented in Balai Pungut Village, Bengkalis, Riau.
This program is the result of a collaboration between PT PLN Energi Gas and PT PLN Nusantara Power UPLTG/MG Duri that has been underway since 2025. Saji Farm and Bugar Rama are designed to support the utilization of local potential while creating opportunities for the community to develop economically viable activities.
On January 23, 2026, the Board of Directors of PLN Energi Gas visited the CSR site in Balai Pungut Village. The visit provided the company with an opportunity to observe the program’s implementation firsthand and interact with the participating community members. The presence of the board of directors at the site also demonstrated the company’s commitment to the program’s implementation at the community level. The field visit was conducted as part of the process to gain a closer understanding of the program’s progress and to identify needs that arise during its implementation.
The visit also served as an opportunity for the company to assess how the TJSL program can continue to be developed in line with the potential and needs of the local community.
