PLN Energi Gas Inaugurates New Office: A Strategic Step Toward the Future of Energy
Jakarta, 25 July 2025 – PT PLN Energi Gas (PLN EG) officially inaugurated and celebrated the opening of its new office located on the 10th floor of Menara Bidakara 2, Jl. Gatot Subroto Kav. 71–73, Tebet, South Jakarta, on Friday (7/25). This milestone marks an important step in strengthening operational performance and collaboration among entities under the umbrella of PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI).
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners of PLN Energi Gas, as well as the management of PLN EG. Also in attendance were the CEO of PLN EPI, the Director of Gas and Fuel at PLN EPI, the Finance Director of PT Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna, and representatives from subsidiaries within the PLN EPI Group.
The event began with remarks from the CEO of PLN Energi Gas, Mr. Edwin Bangun, who stated that the new office is expected to serve as a catalyst for renewed enthusiasm in pursuing the company’s grand vision.
“With the opening of this new office, we hope to bring new spirit and energy to all PLN Energi Gas employees as we work toward the grand vision we have set. May this new location bless us and fill us with enthusiasm as we carry out our mandate to support PLN Energi Primer Indonesia’s role in distributing primary energy throughout the entire PLN Group,” said Edwin Bangun.
Further remarks were delivered by the CEO of PLN EPI, Mr. Rakhmad Dewanto, who has high hopes for PLN Energi Gas as a strategic component of the national primary energy ecosystem.
“Congratulations to PLN Energi Gas on the inauguration and opening of its new office. May this mark the beginning of a new spirit and stronger resolve. I have very high hopes for PLN EG. Use this momentum to support one another, strengthen collaboration, and together make the best possible contribution to the PLN Group,” said Rakhmad Dewanto.
Meanwhile, PLN EPI’s Director of Gas and Fuel, Ms. Erma Melina Sarahwati, emphasized the importance of close collaboration and open communication in supporting performance and sustainable growth.
“Congratulations on the inauguration of PLN EG’s new office. May this facility enable us to further strengthen collaboration and synergy across entities. I am very open to discussion and cooperation so that we can continue to move forward and improve,” explained Erma.
The highlight of the event was marked by the leaders writing symbolic messages and directives on an acrylic panel, followed by a tumpeng-cutting ceremony as an expression of gratitude for the smooth completion of the construction and office relocation.
With a warm and collaborative atmosphere, this inauguration is expected to mark the beginning of improved performance and a stronger spirit of collaboration within the PLN EG and PLN EPI Group, in support of achieving national energy security and sovereignty.
